10 lucky winners from Blyth and the surrounding area have each scooped ride tickets for Ashington Fair.

The winners were announced during an exciting live stream event hosted by South Beach Radio presenter Stu Andrews.

Early birds, Ashleigh Cato and Malcolm Miller each snatched £10 of ride tickets in the first draw.

All of the following then took away £5 of ride tickets in the subsequent draws.

About Ashington Fair

About Ashington Fair at South Beach Radio - News & Views for Blyth, Northumberland

Ashington Fair is due to take place on the Welfare Field at Ashington football club (NE63 9DG)

It will run from Thursday 10th September from Monday 14th September.

Rides will be in operation from 5pm-9pm on weekdays and 1:30pm to 9pm on weekends.

The fair is £1 entry and all rides are also £1 - making it an affordable day out for all the family.

Organiser's Richardson's Amusements have announced the top rides and attractions coming to Ashington Fair will include:

  • The Beast
  • Xstream
  • Miami
  • Freak Out
  • Superstar

A Covid-19 Secure Event

Ashington Fair is planned to be totally covid secure:

  • There will be limited numbers in the fairground at any one time
  • Sanitising stations will be in operation at the entrance and around the fair
  • A one-way system in operation on and off the rides.

Because of these extra measures, queues are expected so make sure you get down early!
