FIRE in Marine Terrace, Blyth
Northumberland Fire and Rescue Service were called at 14.42 to a garage on fire at Marine Terrace in Blyth, which spread to the house and a neighbouring property.
Crews from West Hartford, Pegswood and Amble attended and used breathing apparatus, hose reels and positive pressure ventilation to bring the blaze under control.
Specialist investigation teams are looking into the cause of the fire.
No-one was hurt in either incident, but the fire and rescue team is urging all residents to be fire aware, have working fire alarms, #HaveAnEscapePlan and #StaySafe
